Hello Everyone and good day. There is a BREAST CANCER PETITION that Lifetimetv/breastcancer/petition wants anyone interested in a new breast cancer bill to sign and comment on how you feel regarding the issues in the petition. It is in general a Bill that allows women the right to stay in the hospital for 2 days after a mastectomy instead of going outpatient for a mastectomy/. This is a very crucial issues for women of all ages and races that are here in Psych Central. At this time the Lifetime website is allowing women to voice their needs and wants after a mastectomy so the government knows how women feel. Please voice your opinion on keeping our rights to health care safe and abundant by going to the Lifetime website and clicking on petition, and giving your time in helping women have the medical health treatment they deserve after a mastectomy. Thank you all for your time in this matter. Every Voice Counts. Soidhonia

folks, please do this. i got into a screaming match, in the recovery room, after my last surgery, with my surgeon over his telling me to go to hotel. my insurance company had already told me to anticipate that and to refuse to leave hospital........it was one of the most horrid experiences of my life. the surgery was 5-1/2 hours and he wanted me to spend the night in a hotel room with my daughter.......

his response was to not leave orders for pain medication and and at midnight, a little grey headed nurse dragged him out of his slumber for orders for me.........(we stick together)......

PLEASE DO THIS FOR THE WOMEN THAT AREN'T AS OUTSPOKEN AS I AM..............and thank you Soidhonia for bringing this to the forums...........xoxoxo pat
