Is it strange that I find something about daytime to be depressing? At night I feel so peaceful. I also become quite productive. I have more motivation. I am more in touch with myself. I stay up late nights and early morning and I just tell people that I have sleeping pattern problems..that's part of it, but because I choose to come alive at night. I feel such serenity. I absolutely adore it.

I am a night person too. I worked straight nights for over a decade until my son was born.

It's something some people can do, I can as well. There's something about the quiet of night that just makes everything in the world seem alright, if even for a brief moment.

Not strange at all. Many people are night people. I always feel much more anxious during the daylight hours, especially when it's sunny (and here in California it is sunny a lot!). Night is much more peaceful and calming. I used to stay awake until dawn, then sleep until about 12:30p.m. But like Angelique commented, it just became too hard to live in the world keeping those hours.

I love the serenity of nighttime. Daylight hours are unpleasantly stimulating for me.

I feel better at night too but life dictates that I need to be up during the day.. Daytime for me just seems so loud and bright and chaotic..
