I suspect very strongly that there is an illegal drug lab in the apt. next to mine. They are up for days over there...and I saw a young lady emerge one day from the Apt. sniffing a substance up her nose. She made NO attempt to hide herself from my glance. How should I handle this? All ideas will be thoughtfully considered!....dottie

An anonymous call to your local police department should do the trick.

Also, if there are children living there, you can also leave an anonymous tip with your statewide Children & Youth Services department with your conerns.

I hope and pray all goes well!

Yep, anonymous is the way to go, so no one will ever put the blame on you for busting them. Good luck.

if you are going to report this to the police, make reservations elseware to be able to sleep the night when the bust goes down, not only will your statement be made outside of the prescence of the offender so they wont know who reported them, you will also not lose any sleep over it.

good luck in your desicion

That is a big concern, Dottie!!!! Definately make the anonymous call because if there is a meth lab next door, you and your family could get seriously harmed if the lab explodes! I wish you well and let us know what you decide to do!!

Good Job dottie! You did the right thing. We in the community need to keep tabs on what is going on and take action when it threatens the fiber or our homes and lives.

Very good job, Dottie! Meth labs are a serious hazmat health threat and if you share a building with one, you are definitely in harm's way.

The local police will not notify you of their planned intervention. It will as much a surprise for you as it will be for the offenders. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Your being forwarned and gone for the raid might tip them off.
Take good care,
Okie
