I dont have one ... YET.. but have been thinking about it for my 40th bday next year. Might start it early too that way if I need to have more done on it it will be done by then. Also thinking of having my nose pierced with a small diamond or something like that.
On your tat.. I think I'd have a wolf's head. Not sure why.. just would look neat in my opinion. Thats up to your personal preference though. Goodluck!

I have a compass...of course...right leg...It is a bit unconfortable...it really sucks when they hit the same area several times due to layer of colors...I think mine took in the 2-3 hour range...
Choice is yours - just remember it is pretty much permanent... I always wanted one...never knew what it would be until a few years before I had it done... Only thing you want to do is make sure that you get a reputable business...and an experienced artist...mine had been doing it for 10 years...

I have 8 tattoos. I designed them all myself and I have them all over... arm, thighs, ankle, back, foot.... I love tattoos. Expensive, yes but well worth the money if you are sure of what you want to get. It is art and a way of expressing yourself. I look forward to more. Hope you enjoy your tattoo if you do in fact decide to get one.

I don't have any, but my 18-year-old daughter just had a set of wings tattoo'd on her back. She said it only hurt a couple of times. Apparently, it takes about 3 weeks to heal, though, during which time you can't expose it to the sun, go swimming (might want to think about timing), or scratch it (hers started to peal and itch around week 2--just part of the healing process).

I have one tattoo on the top of my right foot. I had it done when I was 46 and the tattoo is of eyeore. For me it hurt like heck!! took about 1 wk before I could walk good without it swelling up. It took the gentleman about 1hr to do.
I went to the tattoo place first and asked questions. Some of the questions dealt with cleaning process and years he has been doing it. I also went thru his pics to see his work. Just be careful and check everything out...... If I decided to have another one I think it would be my upper chest or my upper back...... Good luck snow

I have 5 tatts. I love all of them, but one. It was not done very well. I think it was important for me to put them in places where I can show them or cover them. My upper arms both have tatts, so I can wear a longer sleeve t-shirt and cover them or a shorter sleeve t-shirt and let them peak out. I have one on my lower thigh that can be cover by longer shorts or shown with shorter shorts…you get the idea. Just my thoughts. I would get more…maybe I will. My mom got her first one when she turned 50!

I have one tattoo as of now.... I have 6 more planned, just aving the money for them is quite hard as usually I end up using it for something more important... anyway, I was 29... its one I designed myself of a dove in flight carrying a long stem red rose and gold cross necklace in its mouth and has a halo over its head... it is on my shoulder blade... I didnt have any trouble dealing with the outline, for me it was the coloring in that hurt the worst, felt like someone was peeling my skin off... like a really bad sunbrun... but it does depend on where you have one done... usually boney areas and underside of the arms are the most sensitive... also depends on size of tat, size needles used, how experienced your tattooist is and so on... I have no regrets and want more!
