Sometimes I feel like I have to do something because it's been suggested. And I don't mean "suggested" like someone says "You should do this," more implicitly.
The one that makes me feel really weird is when it's sexual. If I'm watching a movie or show with a sex scene, I suddenly want sexual satisfaction. Sometimes even (and this is embarrassing to admit) when I'm playing The Sims and my Sims do it. And there's really nothing arousing about the way they do it, the game is only rated T after all.
I can pretty easily shake off the impulse, but I suddenly feel like it will give me greater satisfaction than usual if I act on it right then.
It's also kinda odd when you consider that I hate watching intimate scenes in movies. For some reason I'm more bothered by kissing scenes than sex though. If it's one of those shots that is zoomed in on the actors' faces so they can make out, I look away.

Also I can go hours without smoking a cigarette without my brain telling me I need one, but as soon as someone on TV smokes one, it suddenly seems like a really good idea.

Anyone else experience this?

No...I have never been open to suggestion. I always think through everything & my logic is what tells me what I want or don't want to do, not my emotional mind.
