Hi everyone!

I'm back and I'm trying to catch up on the forums but I wanted to say hi. In case anyone missed it (and cares) I went to New Hampshire for a few days with my family. My mom came in a week ago last Friday and my sis and her husband took off for NH on Sunday.

So, I had mom and my niece Sunday through Wednesday and then we headed to NH. The deal with my sis was that I would leave mom there to go home with her on Sunday so that I could come back today and have some peace! I actually stopped in MA (I live in RI) on the way home to see a friend I hadn't seen in 2 years and that was really nice.

Mom was pissed off that I left her there and we ended up arguing over it with me yelling that I would cancel my plans if she wanted me too. She ended up saying no. My mom has gotten worse. When my therapist met my mom 15 years ago, she said that in her personal and professional life, my mom was the most narcissistic person she had ever met. And that was 15 years ago! If she is bored with a conversation, she will just interupt it and talk about what she wants to talk about, she repeats her stories and comments all the time, she complains about everybody, she knows EVERYTHING, did I mention she repeats everything?

I did get a new tatoo up there (this is my third). I'm attaching the link but if it doesn't work, it's on the public photo albums. It's the chinese symbol for tranquility:

There is a place in NH (North Conway) that I absolutely love. It's called Diana's Bath. It is a .06 mile walk in the woods and it comes out to pools of water that have come down the mountain and with the rock formations, this creates the "baths". I have alot of difficulty walking but I really wanted to go there to commune with nature and meditate to destress from that time with mom. So I waited until I was leaving today and went up.

I asked my "Source" to give me the strength to walk out there to enjoy this spot. And I made it - I was soooo happy and it's just as beautiful as I remember it. All you can hear is the water rushing down the mountain and passing through these rock formations, the sun is shinning, the birds are singing, and the area is just so tranquil and beautiful. So I went up - walked over to one of the center rocks and laid down in the sun and meditated for a half hour. I took pictures and a little video on my cell phone so I could hear the rush of that water again. I even hugged a tree on the way out I'm back. I felt that I was one with my Source and felt all the love in the world.
I'm attaching a link to two pictures from there as well:

Tomorrow they come home and I'm cooking dinner. Then I'm going to work on Monday and my sis is taking mom back to the airport.

It's good to be home!

Welcome back! I lived in NH for a while, and in August I'm going back up to visit my dad. It's a pretty nice place. I like your tattoo!

Tranquility, welcome back. I am glad you had a safe trip. Sorry your mom put a damper on things. I checked out your new tatt—nice! I am glad you made it to the baths—nature can be really calming.

DePressMe - Thanks, the problem was walking in the tattoo parlor and picking just one I loved so many of them. I bought a card from this wicca shop that has a moon with a woman with wings flying through it and that's what I want put on my back. I do love the calmness of nature, I forgot how much!

Thanks Jean! I use to go to North Conway every year and haven't been up in about 10 years - boy it's built up! But still beautiful. I was so grateful to be able to walk. I kept praying all the way in that as long as I could get there I didn't care how much pain I would be in later.
