I've been made aware of, or found myself, a few incidents of links that have have been hijacked with the obscene, gross or vulgar. It appears that's going on a lot lately on the WWW.
If you run across one of these links, please notify a mod/admin immediately and we'll remove it. Another issue that I just witnessed today is that an image link was hijacked, and instead of viewing the cute picture that was originally posted, I was viewing vulgar and gross. Today I was showing my little man the cute and funny pics and was horrified at what was on the screen. It was by no means the intent of the poster, but that the link to the image had been hijacked. In this case as well, please contact a mod/admin immediately by reporting the post, or if one of us is on you can PM. I just wanted to make you all aware. I can think of at least one way to make sure that images aren't hijacked and that would be to first save them to your computer, or to a free site like photobucket, then post from there. If anyone has further suggestions or comments, don't hesitate to post them here. Thank you! KD __________________ |
