Does anyone have issue with forgetting meeting or misplaced things in your life? I forgot to lock car doors frequently. I Forget to bring along house keys. I forget to bring my lunch to work.

many times. my treatment providers told me in general that its normal for people to forget things. that said if it bothers you, you might want to contact your treatment providers because there are many normal, mental and physical health issues that can cause a person to be more forgetful than normal.

Oh yeah. I think my memory problems have something to do with my taking Abilify because I don't remember being so forgetful before...at least, I think it used to be that way. Remembering the time before taking Abilify is kind of fuzzy to me now.

Yes, I have trouble with my memory, too. Recently, I was asked who my doctor was and I couldn't remember. And I've been seeing him for years. I finally remember but it was well after the fact. I forget to turn my car off. I have one that you have to press a button to turn it off, but I just pick up the keys and start to get out. I don't know what's happening with my brain, unless my meds are causing it.

I make myself notes lots of times so I don't forget.

I also blame my meds for being forgetful. Goldfish have better memory.

I totally blame my meds for this.

It has gotten so bad that I have lists on the inside of my front door.

If I have to do something important and out of my regular routine I leave notes for myself on my bathroom mirror. I even resort to leaving post-it notes stuck to my phone.

Yes, especially when I'm depressed, I am super forgetful.
I rely on lists and habits to remember the simple things.

I'm very forgetful, thanks to DID and Topamax (aka Dopamax.) But I have 5 agendas/calendars where I write my schedule so never miss appointments or meetings or anything. I also have 8 clocks in my 1 bedroom apt. to keep me on time.

I even bought stretchy things to attach my keys to my purse because I was always loosing them & then late because I couldn't find my keys.

I do a budget at the beginning of the month to make sure bills are paid on time. I set my calander on my phone & have another calendar book to keep track of everything. Shoot I forget what day of the week it is most of the time which isn't good for remembering to go to my dance classes
