Was not sure if this would fit in bipolar, depression or some place else so I put it here.
Anyhow, for several years I have experienced highs and lows multiple times a day. One moment I may be positive and full of hope then a few hours later the sky is falling and I am ready to just give up. I probably feel the latter most often. Also, the smallest things can trigger unpleasant memories and I quickly feel like ripping people to shreds. Really wish pleasant memories could be triggered just as easy. Want to get some idea of what the issue could be prior to my doc appointment next month. |

Frequently switching moods like that and small things triggering you sounds like BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) but no one here can diagnose you, so bring it up with your doctor

Seconding that, though it may not be either of these, BPD or bipolar could cause that. Try looking into ultradian (ultra-ultra-rapid cycling) bipolar.
Good luck, I hope you can find answers! ![]() |
