With the increasing number of our brothers and sisters spending several tours in Iraq and other combative areas, would it be a healthy thing to have a forum for veterans?
Being able to communicate with others within a safe, annonymous environment may be very helpful for them. Annonymity is very important when dealing with the military and the mental health field. I am a veteran, my brother is also in his second tour in Iraq and it's much more difficult this time. Don't get me wrong, he's a 12 year vet in the Army but you can only see so many of your friends get killed before you need to reach out. And within the military system, is not always the place. It would also give other a chance to just show their support. If this needs to be moved somewhere, please feel free.
