I just watched the news and NINE wonderfully cute puppies were abandoned and found this morning. They were in a plastic storage crate wrapped in wire so that they could not get out. Whoever did this obviously wanted the pups to die. I dont understand why someone would do something like this when we have places like the spca and animal control to turn over unwanted animals to. I think it takes a special kind of cruelty to do something like this.

Thankfully they were found, and brought to Dr Carnegy, the veteranarian that I use (hes wonderful) and they are now fostering them at the office until they are adopted.

Hi Rainbow,

Hopefully, the TV coverage will be helpful in finding them good homes.

Hugs,

EJ

I don't get why people do horrible things like that, either, but I'm glad these puppies were lucky enough to have been found and I hope they all get wonderful homes, full of love.

It's so terrible and unfortunatly pretty common. I'm glad they were found.

At our humane society / kill shelter they have what i call the drop box. Its so you can go in after hours and drop you unwanted pet in a box and you don't have to talk to anyone. Even with this we will have people doing stuff like you described. I don't get it at all.

Stories like this one make me so sad. But thank goodness in this situation they were found alive and are receiving proper care. Unfortunately not all stories like this one have a happy ending.

It's horrible the things that people will do to get rid of unwanted pets. That's a really sad story, and I'm glad they found the puppies to. I mean they would have been better off,if they were afraid of leaving them at an animal shelter or a place like that, letting them run free at a populated park full of kids. At least a couple of those kids, probably could have convinced thier parents to take one home and keep it. Kids can be pretty convincing sometimes, and then the parents ofcourse would have checked them out to see who were the proper owners first, and they would have been found that way. But that was complete cruelty the way they were disposed of. I understand your sympathies in this. Thats just crazy what they did,and wrong in every way!
