…awesome! It’s better than I possibly could’ve hoped for. They really keep me jumping there, and I come home very tired at the end of the day, but it’s a good kind of tired. I really feel like I’ve accomplished something, and I feel like my Manager and the others that I’ve worked with have appreciated my efforts too. I met the head VP last Friday, and he spent about 30 minutes with me just shooting the breeze, talking about the company, asking about my background, he wants me to go play golf with him someday this summer. I didn’t have the heart to tell him about my bad back and knee. Maybe I’ll just tough it out. I was there just nine working days last Thursday, and I already went thru my first ISO audit So, the new job is.... I asked them if I was being punished So, the new job is...

You can tell that I’m a real employee of the company. I’m real stingy about office supplies, I don’t waste printer paper, I re-format old floppy disks instead of using new ones. I want my profit sharing!!!

I knew I wasn’t in Kansas anymore when my Manager took me aside last Friday about a half hour before time to leave and told me that I had already been proving myself to be an asset to the company, and that he had no doubts that I would be getting promotions in the company in very short periods of time. After all I had been thru at GE with the boss from Hell, to hear something like that was music to my ears. My new boss is very big on thanking people, telling someone when he or she have done a good job, he’s just an all-around positive influence. And he’s very good at what he does. I can learn some things from him.

Funny thing…I was talking to my wife on Monday and mentioned to her that I hadn’t complained about my job since starting this new one. And she said, “Yeah, and honey, no offense meant, but it’s been soooooooo nice”. I had to laugh So, the new job is...

Love to all,
Greg

A long deserved break for you my friend!
