Because.
Because it helps me to cope with anxiety and all the rest. Because it gives me strengh to carry on and to beleive in life. That is why i play. But i dont play now cause i have to sold my guitars to a pawn shop, just to stay barely alive. That is why i like to play the guitar. Sincerely, Éric Born in 1963 of French mom and Canadian dad.

My brother had to go that route years ago as he traveled the US, but after that time in his life he has a couple of nice guitars back in his life and he too finds peace when he plays.
Try to keep in your heart, in time you'll get a guitar back in your life, and when you do, play on. . .  In giving advice seek to help, not please your friend SOLON

I'm sorry to hear this... perhaps you can find some really cheap guitar at a yardsale until you have something good again?
I'm on the other end of the stick: I own a Regent Alvarez, but my fingers and hands won't let me play. Of all the stuff I could wish for, I have to admit, let me play again is right near the top.... <font color=blue> meditation is a true way to connect to the Source </font color=blue>

Hi Sky !
I'll try to buy one of my friend's guitar, an Ovation (made in Asia) but the sound is great and the price reasonable. But i don't work right now, so i can't afford it, even if it would be a good deal. So I'll have to do without for the time being, not thinking too much about it. Brother my heart goes out to you. I play the bass, and man I would hate to not be able play because I had to sell it. Is there any other way you can make some cash?
