Be careful if you're going to search for photos on photobucket.

Three days in a row now Norton AV has blocked a "High Risk" virus from intruding. photobucket

It doesn't happen when I'm signed in to my photo album, just when I'm searching for pics.

Just a heads up! photobucket

Yeah it happens from time to time on PhotoBucket (and other sites) and the virus can even be attached to certain PICS - so when you view them the virus opens up on your computer. photobucket photobucket

If you have virus protection, it should block any attempt. You might want to run your anti-virus software just to make sure you're ok.

Yep...always update that antivirus!! When dowloading, always scan the file before opening too! That saves a lot of heartache for sure.

One thing I wish photobucket would do is upgrade their servers to catch the viruses in the uploads coming into the server. That would save us all a lot of headaches. Maybe we should send them letters expressing just that to them and tell them we won't use their services if they don't keep up with the times??? photobucket Probably would fall on deaf ears anywyas...LOL

I have to agree with you, Sabau. You would thin photobucket would do something to catch it on the front end when it is uploaded.

Thanks for the reminder Petunia. I think I have it covered but I need to check it out just for peace of mind.

DO you have and use a Spy Ware as well...... they catch a lot of computer intrusion up front., and FAST!

P.S.
To anyone that uses Verizon as your ISP - you get their FREE PROTECTION (that is awesome) when you install MSN on your computer....... protection & MSN are both FREE!!
