It sure is difficult to be away from here for a week, to come back and find that people are still in misery.

When I had to take my computer in for repairs, I was in a depression. I'm still there. I know what I have to do but I have no motivation. It would sure help to hear some personal success stories to help me with my motivation!

SURELY, there are a few success stories out there!? Bring them on! Please!

Well...this is a sort of success...I spent a whole morning posting ads of my "artox" on Ebay, and I'm getting bids! Still 4 days to go.

I have a success story—it is my life! My depression has been gone for a few months—no self harm in months—my weight has been steady—I’ve been sober for over 18 months—therapy is going well…

Right now, one thing I am succeeding in is my job. I had been on the verge of getting fired for about 1 and ½ years. I am starting to get things turned around. One big difference is that I show up every day and stay instead of leaving early. My depression has been at bay long enough that I am finally catching up on tasks. It feels good. I don’t hate going to work. Although, I would rather hit the lottery and stay home.

well, today i got up and thought i wanted to hide and just dissappear. (im on holiday from work) Instead I got up, got dressed and went down to my allotment. My brother came with me and helped me build a fence and a make a gate and when it was finished i painted it green. I then went into the committee hut and spoke to some of the girls and had a cup of tea and a giggle with them. I then dug up some patatoes i had grown and brought them home and had them for dinner. It made me feel better.

Its not a huge sucess but for me, just for today, it was a little sucess.

Im glad you got your puter back!

I have not been well this week (asthma flare). The other day I caught myself saying over and over again how crappy I felt. I then stopped myself and practiced my deep breathing. As I breathed in I pretended it was bright sunlight going in my throat and into my lungs filling them with bright healing light and energy.

As I breathed out I pretended all the junk went out with it. I actually felt better and breathed a little better too! Told my hypnotherapist about it because it was techniques he shares. He was so pleased and rejoiced with me that this was the first time I was able to stop my negative thoughts and do something positive!

Tranquility

Hubby is off his meds (3 months now). No relapses. Gainfully employed in a job he loves and no symptoms of his earlier struggles. He's "normal" now.

I start my first year of teaching in a month. Yeah, we're having a pretty good year. Success Stories, Please!

Don't you just love working in/with the earth? Success Stories, Please!

I made a wonderful discovery the other day. I have a bin that I've been throwing yard waste in and had pretty much forgotten it. I was needing some extra potting soil for some plants I was transplating and thought I could throw some of the yard waste down in the bottom of the pot for filler. To my amazement, some worms had crawled in somehow and had been hard at work turning the waste into rich soil!! Success Stories, Please! It smelled so good, too! I've thrown in some coffee grounds so the worms will multiply faster and now I'm going to try and forget about that bin again for a while. Success Stories, Please!
