So I don't understand how this happened I forgot to eat because I was rushing to get to my appointment I completely forgot I was hungry. When I got to my psychiatric appointment the lady told me there computer had a glitch so nobody knew I had an appointment until the looked at the notes. Will anyway, I feel like crying because again I failed to do something even a child can do which is eat. I am concerned if I am to ill to remember that need then what the **** will I do as an adult. I am such a failure.

I have forgot to eat lots of times. It's easy to do when you have a lot on your mind. Please don't be so hard on yourself.

I've definitely had plenty of times where I was so stressed out I couldn't eat, or so stressed out I forgot to eat. Hey, if you have to remind yourself at least you're taking care of yourself! I hope you won't be too hard on yourself. Best wishes.

It's perfectly OK to forget to eat sometimes... you're not stupid, just... stressed, that's it

BlackRoses - please watch your wording thankyou.

As for your incident, I forget sometimes to eat - and that's not even if I'm stressed or jittery. I do have meal reminders in my phone but that is because I take medications or vitamins over mealtimes. Do you take medications or have anything else you can schedule around mealtimes?

Again, this happens I'm pretty sure to all of us. Doing so occasionally isn't a sign of anything bad and it certainly isn't a sign of - as you put it - an intellectual impairment.

The best thing you can do is stick to a routine.

I didn't want to do eat I felt sick. I always feel sick my body is weird it doesn't like to eat lunch or whatever I find myself hungry later.

This makes no sense. First you said you forgot to eat and now you are saying you deliberately chose not to. I know I sound unfriendly here but I really wish you would get your stories straight before posting, okay?
