Somebody please wake me! I am so sleepy and exhausted--it's virtually impossible to stay awake. Eventually I am asleep, in and out of it all day. I'm not sure if its related to my health problems or not. But over the past few weeks, I've experienced additional problems from migraines, more chest pains, a kidney infection, and a possible 2nd kidney infection developing--that itself could cause fatigue. Oh, yeah, and with it, my kidneys seemed to take a break from producing like the they should. This has got to be more than psych causing this. It's so irritating because I can't be sleeping all day! It's hard to do anything. This heat doesn't help anything with me either.

Inky,

The heat is awful right now.

Are you somewhere where you are out of the elements?

I am right now, but not always. The library closes in about 2-1/2 hours, then I will be back outside. I've been spending more time in the shade, and I am normally a "sun" person--I love the sun. I've had so many health-related problems the past few months, and even more since the migraines. I don't think I'll take the migraine medicine again either for future ones because of the way my heart reacted to it. Can't take my arthritis medicine daily anymore either because it increases the swelling, and I think, contributed to my kidneys not producing as much. There has been so much with me! My body AND my mind are completely worn out!!

The heat is horrible right now....& I know when I wasn't drinking much, I wasn't producing much.....hardly any at all but a few drips....& couldn't even sweat.....which is really hard on the kidneys.

I can relate to the migraine meds too.....the imetrex really messed with my heart....the first time I tried it. I couldn't find any migraine med that helped & my migraines are 24/7....they never go away (& it isn't bounce back or rebound). I am now on a heavy dose of narcotics (& have been for the last 4 years). I am lucky because even with the high dose, it allows me to have a normal quality of life & I am not groggy with the amount I'm on (can't explaine that just is). I know they are horribly expensive (over $1000/month), but I haven't had a migraine pain since I went on this dose.

Migraines also tear you down so you can't function & are tired all the time....just trying to escape from the pain.

I hope things will turn around for you....I also know that heat doesn't help the migraines either.....only makes them worse....just like the really cold weather does.

Take it easy in this heat....being outdoors & getting dehydrated is a bad thing also.....that can be alot of the kidney situation also is dehydration.....so be careful,
You are in my prayers,
Debbie
