Nah, mere feelings and/or things running through our minds are not crimes. Just keep making your best efforts at things you know to be right and good...and it is right and good to keep sharing your feelings and thoughts!

Your husband would never love you so much if you were evil. You belong with him, not in jail or put to death, sweetheart. And you are definitely not responsible for the bad things in the world.

For self esteem, I think of words that I heard long ago. "You are not better than anyone else, but you are just as good". You are just as good! You have never been worthless. You are worthy.

What you described is what they call 'magical thinking'. It's thinking unless you do something, something bad will happen. Just try to keep that in mind when your thoughts go there and be easy on yourself. You can't control all the pain and suffering in the world.
