If anyone can provide a thorough answer to this question, I'd be much obliged. This is a springboard question to help me study for my preliminary doctoral examinations next week. PLEASE HELP!!
Choose any developmentally significant period of the lifespan between birth and 80 (the period must span at least two years). First, describe a developmental change in perception, cognition, or language that can be observed during your chosen age period. Second, describe the potential causes of the developmental change as identified by Neurobiologists, Information Processors, Piagetians, Neo-Piagetians, Contextualists, and/or Nativists (choose 3 of the 6). Third, critically evaluate the strength of recent empirical data (post 2000) supporting the case for each of the hypothesized causes. |

While I feel for you in your frustration, I would hope that if you are ready for this step, that you can, with focus, establish a suitable answer youself.
What appears to be your problem with this, can you explain more fully? Perhaps if you break it down into segments, it would become easier to realize what you already know? TC __________________ |

I see you're a new member and I wonder if the only reason you are here is for research purposes. This is against the rules of this forum. People are not allowed to come in for research or solicitation.

I look at that & don't even know who or what neurobiologists, Information Processors, piaget ans, Neo-piagetians, contextualists, or Nativists are. I would hope since you are going for your Doctorial exams that you know what they are asking you.
I know that there are periods of my life that expan 2+ years that have made a huge diffenence in my life & have changed things significantly, but in terms of what you are being asked, haven't the foggiest. I wish you luck however & am sure that if your at this point in your education, you will be able to put your thoughts together for your answer. Just getting to the level of a PhD, you have had to answer similar questions. I am sure you will do just fine. Most of us here are on the parctical end & the feeling end of things & just need to get them fixed without knowing what is behind everything we are going through. Good luck, Debbie __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this.
