can ocd manifest itself by wanting to harm others?

Just as a guess: ocd reflects an underlying distress; you might want to harm others in order to punish them for not helping you cope with that distress.

Wanting to harm others; or having thoughts of it at least; must be a rather unsettling intrusive thought. I agree with the above poster - hopefully you are seeking support from professionals.

Yes, intrusive thoughts to harm people can be part of OCD, as well as many other things. Seeking support from professional is one way to find out if this is the case for you.
