I have five pets...two dogs and three cats. I'm thinking of lightening my load and moving to an apartment or condo.
I know this sounds harsh, but I will only do this if I find good homes for them. Henry is the Golden Retriever female pup, 7 months old, and I've contacted Golden Retriever Rescue in WV about her. I'll pay for her spaying before letting her go. The two Maine Coon cats won't be hard to place, but old kitty may have to stay with me, as he is just a run-of-the-mill stray type. My older dog, Kelley, Samoyed mix, is so sweet and gentle, but must go to a special loving home.
I'm at the point where I just want no home improvements, no yard maintenance, and no pets tying me down.

I can understand you not wanting to be tied down. It's not a good feeling sometimes. It's also hard to say goodbye to your pets, especially if you've had them for awhile.
I had the chance to move in with a friend back in San Diego over a year ago, but since I had a puppy, I couldn't go! Her Apartment Complex does not allow Dogs of any kind, only cats!
So I had the chance to get back to California, and it was ruined because I was tied down with a dog! But I love him so much,I couldn't just toss him out and go! You get attached so easy!
But it's looking like my best luck in getting back home, is if I do find a new home for my dog to!
I wish you the best of luck with finding good homes for your pets!Considering placing my pets up for adoption... Considering placing my pets up for adoption... Considering placing my pets up for adoption...

Sometimes we need to lighten our loads in order to move forward in life. It does not make you a bad person for doing this. It shows you are considering all options. I know you will do the right thing by your pets. You are a loving soul and I know they will have wonderful homes to go to.

Taking care of YOU is very important. You give to others and to your pets and sometimes you just have to turn it on yourself. You deserve it!
