I have no idea what exactly is wrong with me. I wake up every morning and I'm always angry. I get enough sleep, I eat right, and I don't watch anything that would effect me in the morning. when my mom or sister talk to me, not even a lot, I get furiously angry and its like that every morning. I later on always feel so bad but I just don't know how to cope with it. help!!

If you could magically change something in your life, what would that be?

I ask because I believe something is not as you hoped it would be. I think that is usually the root of most anger.

Hello kscmmm: I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. But I can relate to what you are experiencing to some extent. I also tend to wake up, not furiously angry, but angry & very "touchy". It doesn't take much to set me off. In my case, I also struggle with a lot of passive suicidal thought when I get up.

I'm an older person, myself. And I've struggled with depression & anxiety for many years. So I presume my bad mood, when I get up, is related that. I've also read that it's not enough to simply sleep. It's important to get down into the deeper levels of sleep because this is where both mental & physical healing takes place. I know this is a problem for me. I doubt I get down into those deeper levels of sleep very often. Maybe something like this is part of your problem as well? I don't know... just a thought.

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! May the time you spend here be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!
