...I know I need to hang the washing out to dry, clean the house, sort out my money, deal with correspondence & at work I know I should be focusing & getting on with stuff that are time critical instead of all the other stuff & in my personal life I need to help my daughter more with her school work, find her an amateur dramatics club to go to, try & find a way to explain to my teenage son that living with people needs respect & compromise & have the courage to address the state of our marriage with my husband.

...I know all of these things. Yet I sit here. For hours. Googling in what I think is a desperate attempt to find the answer to.....I don't know....the answer to me? Do I think that somewhere on the Web the answer to what's going on in my head and step by step instructions on how to put it right is somehow going to appear on a randomly discovered website?

I'm lost. I think I'm lost.

I'm sorry you're both feeling lost. Instead of searching the web....I buy lots of self help books looking for the answer. It's never there.

Try just one thing at a time.

Thank you. I keep telling myself to do that. Almost pick one and do it & keep doing that until they're all done. I just keep putting them off. But thank you. I shall try.
