i recently posted asking help for what a doctor would do about my SI if he lifted my shirt and if i was able to keep from showing it....
i just want to thank everyone who posted back and i appreciate your kindness as for an update...i went in because i have a lump on my breastbone near my sternum and i got worried because i found another one growing on the lower opposite side ....so i put on a tank top and went to the doctors lol after frantic posting here...well he brought in a woman to supervise him..which i think is a great idea and all doctors should do it....the woman was an RN and she made sure i was comfortable and not in any way uncomfortable ....i guess he wanted this too since he would be looking at my chest...well i got a close call when he asked if he could do a breast examination (my SI extends to them) and i started to get anxious and said id rather not and the lady shook her head yea and he said no problem but to make sure i get checked out in case it is a gyno problem like Breast cancer or a cyst or something...because that wont show up on an Xray...but i did take xrays and he said nothing is there and they did blood work and i will be going back to see what they say next week...he said that if everything checks out he wants me to see a gyno like i said above or a determinatologist in case it has a skin inflammation ...or i think my mimi might be right she said something about fatty tissue...and someone on here said they had the same thing that turned out to be fatty tissue....which im sure thats what it is...but with cancer running on both sides im sure you guys would understand my just wanting to make sure....but im glad its ok so far.....just alittle more ways to go and im all clear....so thats the update thanks again for everyone who helped me through my up and down emotions and all....i appreciate your understanding and support it means alot to me through this stressful and frusterating time...

I could never see a male doctor at all for anything requiring an examination of a physical kind. (pdocs & chiropractors are ok) I'm glad you were able to get in and that he was a gentleman and asked a nurse to stay in the room.
