I usually wait until November is at least started and then I start panicking after Thanksgiving (despite the fact that I buy all my presents online and have them delivered to the person; except those I carry myself Christmas day). But I get all the catalogs in the world and multiple copies of them and start hoarding them around now. In a couple months I have to weed the catalogs to see which ones I'll actually use versus those I just dream of using :-)

I used to. I used to have all my required shopping done by Sept 1st. That left me to thoroughly enjoy the holidays...walk the malls for the fun of it (???) and buy something more if I wanted but not have to.

Now, I don't have 'anyone' to shop for, really. I usually buy through QVC if I do though.

Not me, not yet. Then again, I *do* have midterms and papers due soon, so I'm a bit pressed for time.

Nope. Not shopped yet because I don't know what anyone wants and I don't want to get them just anything to satisfy the gift giving requirement.

Sky, I love QVC too! What kinds of things do you buy from them?

Yes, I have been buying Christmas presents for a couple months now. I have to, for 2 reasons: 1) I think of really great ideas which I will forget if I don't buy them immediately, having the memory of a flea; and 2) I have to spread it out over several months so that I can afford them. If I buy a couple every paycheck, I can get it done by Christmas!

Not yet. My husband's birthday mid November so I don't start until the day of Xmas Eve. Wait.... lol. Seriously though I normally wait until after his birthday to start. And yes, every year I am that moron at the mall one hour before it closes on the day of Xmas eve, buying last minute stuff.

Then in the midst of running around the mall sweating profusely and panicking, I begin to wonder... how did I end up in all of this....I'm Jewish, lol... Hahaha, hubby is not and we always spend Xmas w/ his family-- I do love it.

Already bought bikes for two boys, and a CD player/jewelary box for my daughter with lots of fun fake jewelary, mum always gets a gift voucher for her fav shop and a few bits for the baby although we gave him his bike early as he saw it and cried for it !

No Christmas presents this year....giving my daughter the trip to Kentucky so we can spend Christmas together on my new farm. Nice Christmas dinner & a relaxing week together. Nothing really set up well but determined to have Christmas here in Kentucky even if I'm not all moved in by then. Don't have time to make presents this year either.....just will have to do with togetherness.

I have about 3 for the kids that were bargains and I couldn't pass up - otherwise I'm pretty worried when I'll be able to shop as money is just not happening this year. My son's birthday is a week before Christmas too!

That aside, I usually try to get mine done in the first or second week of December.
