This was my real night. As I have said before my father in law was a world war two veteran. Was hurt over there fighting for our country.WOn a purple heart.
Died 2 fathers days ago.
HIs head stone is Still not there. Found that out tonight.
So its either on someone elses grave or its taking a really long time to make. He was to get a free one as he earned it.
So now we get to hunt it down, THe head stone. Took picures of grave sitting empty.

So tonight in chat when I laughed and laughed it was a good thing. I did not flood, I just laughed..........so i would not be upset.

I went to laugh too...

(((muffy)))) Oh that is upsetting for sure! Someone stole the bronze vase on my dad's military grave. Of course it was replaced but it was gone while I was there, and I couldn't place my flowers in it.

I know how you feel. But they aren't there in the ground. Their spirits are with us, helping us through our lives.

Thank you every one. The thing that upsets me the most is its been 1 year and 4 mths since he died. WHen he fought in the battle of the bulge , did he say , hey wait .....I got something to do for 1 year and 4 mths lets put this off a bit. Ah no he fought. He protected us. When he kept 3 pairs of socks on him. One in his helmet . one on his feet and one in pockets did he go wait brb in 1 year and 4 mths till winter is gone.
When he was shot and was laying there, with the other guys, and he had them take the other ones first, because thats the kinda guy he was . Did he say wait. No he said take them first.
So now when hes gone he should get the respect he deserves. WHich is his head stone.
SO we his family can have peace. Monday morning i start again, Calling the veterans, this time the senate, the papers, the news channels. Till i get my answers.........

If this post is upsetting you can pull it. I am just upset and want him at rest and us to have peace and it to be done.

If there are any calls that i can make to help you and your family in getting this done, please let me know. I will make as many calls as necessary.

I will say a prayer for your father in law. I thank him for fighting for our freedom. He is one of the brave.

I am sorry you have to go through all this.

Your post is not upsetting in the since of triggering. It does make me angry that a decorated veteran is being treated like this. He deserves respect....

You are in my thoughts.

Just wanted to say good luck on dealing with the buerocracy. It seems ridiculous to take so long and then make it hard on you to get through to them.
