My fiance literally came skipping into my work area this afternoon with a sheet of paper. Turns out he was given a conditional offer with the local police department. He passed the background check, all that is left is the psych exam, physical, & polygraph. He's really nervous about the polygraph he's worried that he'll tell the truth but it will show up that he lied. I actually cried for him... he goes to academy at the end of January!

Congratulations to your fiance.....it's wonderful to hear great news from you...haven't seen you around much lately. It's great to hear wonderful exciting news like this when we do hear from you.
Sure the polygraph will go fine.....has to be a strange feeling when a little machine trys to detect if you are lying of not. I would be so nervous, I'm sure I would really confuse the machine....lol. Nice to hear from you & thanks for sharing the great news, Debbie

I guess they ask really embarassing questions, like have you had sex in public, and stuff like that.

He took the polygraph today and should find out if he "passed" it soon

Well... he passed it! Tommorow he has his medical physical, then he just has the psych exam left.
