Hello Distasio: I noticed this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral.

I'm not a mental health professional. So I can't offer you anything in the way of a diagnosis regarding what you're experiencing. Diagnosing members' conditions is not something we do here on PC anyway. Our purpose is to provide one another with support as well as to share experiences & exchange information.

Based on what you wrote, it sounds as though what you experienced may be what is referred to as a panic attack. There's a forum, here on PC, dedicated to the topic of anxiety, phobias & panic. Here's a link just in case you haven't already found it:

https://forums.psychcentral.com/anxi...c-and-phobias/

And then here are links to 7 articles, from PsychCentral's archives, on the subject of panic attacks & how to manage them:

Panic Disorder Symptoms

Panic Disorder Treatment | Panic Attacks

What a Panic Attack Feels Like

Living with Panic Attacks

https://psychcentral.com/lib/how-to-...panic-attacks/

https://psychcentral.com/lib/tips-to...-attack/?all=1

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

I cant say for sure but I have bipolar and believe me when I tell you that along with my mood disorder I do tend to yell at lot.I know part of it is because of my bad fall I had over 6 years ago.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
