Misphonia is extreme hatred of various sounds from people chewing to people typing, snapping gum, etc. From my reading online there are varying levels of dislike from a little to a lot.

Hm, you've struck a kind of nerve by using this word.. another meaning. It can be used to describe another kind of experience.. Which is: Hearing people say things that they in actuality did not! And words and sentences out of thin air when you're alone.

My biggest pet peeve with that is when people sniffle incessantly instead of blowing their nose. It drives me up a freaking wall and so many people in my classes do it every single day.

Speaking of, time to go pretend to be thankful and listen to the sound of chewing without losing my mind (or my temper). I'm totally dragging my feet. Have to be there in 50 min and haven't even showered :/
