I was reading through the copies of the letters that was put together from when I was stuck in the worst of my mental health issues.

he letters say about hypnopompic (sp) hallucinations and hypnagogic (sp) hallucinations. What does this mean?

Also the letters mention about emotionally unstable personality disorder. Not sure what this is either.

I'm going to hide so the scary words disappears

Hypnopompic is when you are waking up and Hypnagogic is when you are falling asleep. I guess they observed you hallucinating right after you awoke and before you fell asleep.

Maybe you carried your dreams into the minutes when you first awoke.

so many names for disorders.....where do they get them all?

Those letters triggered me

I was never inpatient due to mental health services here being a big pile of something brown and stinky that normally gets flushed away, although I should of been cause I wasn't coping and nobody at all tried to help me by putting me in hospital to keep me safe. That's the only thing that would of helped back then.

Who wrote those letters with such highly technical terms if you weren't in the hospital?

Medical terminology wuth it's scary sounding words can be very triggering until we learn tje simple words that they really mean

(((((( whisper ))))))

I only just found this post. I hope this late reply isn’t triggering. Tonight I was triggered more than usual by my own brain remembering the words they used about me. UK

They love their labels

And I love your description of them, brown and sticky

No they do not fail everybody else in every country as appallingly as those *** holes FAIL us here.

ETA who wrote those letters with such highly technical terms? Well.... they come in all different shapes and sizes but they all have the same bad smell

PS a big pile of something brown and stinky that normally gets flushed away. The mental unhealth disservice’s over here.. grrr .. I love your description of them whisper. It’s the most accurate description of them I have yet found

Basically I told my psych about this stuff, including telling her
Possible trigger:

Just some of the stuff I knew was true that she did not believe me about.

idk if I did the right thing telling her all this stuff.
