I know perhaps you think I am crazy but I absolutely love sitting in the rain,i mean I dont if it is down pouring but whenever I do it just seems to make me feel relaxed,I love the feel of the raindrops falling on my head and face hey you take a shower in it anyway,it is just rain,I was just sitting outside in it this morning the smell of the rain it is so clean I feel refreshed whenever out there, NOw on the other hand if it is Thundering out forget it,.You know when I go outside it actually helps with my depression and sometimes my anger too. To bad they dont bottle rain,

I feel the same way. I walk yo and from work, but I have someone who offers to give me a ride when it rains, but I always decline because I like to walk in the rain anyway, especially to distress after a crappy work day.
Thanks for this!

If you could put rain in a bottle, how do you visualize this happening?

I am totally on your level. When I hear the rain start I nearly always try to make a point to go out and smoke or check the mail or something anything to justify going outside for a few minutes. My man probably thinks I am nuts ha
But it instantly puts me in a State of calm.
Definitely one of my favorite things

When I was a kid swimming and it started to rain my mom always told us to get out of the water.I often thought why?I mean you are all wet anyway so how is the rain going to change things? Now I can see if it was thundering and lightening out but you are wet anyway.I love the smell of the rain and when it hits you in the face it feels so good
Thanks for this!

hmmmm, where does water initially come from whether bottled or not?

I love being in the rain too & would love it more if my hair didn't frizz after being out in it. I am forever trying to get my fiekds mowed before a storm hits & am mowing until it is just too wet & I hear the thunder getting closer.

Yoyr mom probably figured if it was raining the lightening would be tjere soon too depending on what part of the country you grew up in. I spent my summers growing up in Kansas though I lived in so. Calif. We never had lightening storms in Calif but as soon as a storm csme in Kansas they cleared the people out of the pools because there was always lightening with those storms

Rain has different effects on people. Personally, I like rain. I love watching the raindrops and hear them fall on the rooftop and on the ground. It calms me and gives me peace of mind. When my mind is cluttered, rain takes it all away and simply clears my mind. I can think much better when there is rain.

It is funny how something so simple or short like rain can really help calm a person down. When my husband was alive we use to sit in our enclose porch and watch it rain it even has a nice clean smell to it doesn't it? Hey sometimes we would also watch the thunderstorms ,now no way thunderstorms scare the living daylights out of me,

If it is pouring out I do come inside.I have a little over hang which I can sit under.I think to that I just hate the thought of having to come inside.Just think only two years ago you wouldnt have caught me sitting outside that is because I was afraid to,

Me too. As a child I really like it if someone could take me outside and sit with an umbrella when it rains.

Obviously I love the rain. There are few things as calming and therapeutic as the sound of rain hitting the roof.
