I always look around (and maybe I am just over looking it) but I havn't seen any form that revolves around frustration, anger, and general venting. </font>

There's a current thread going on anger, using Dr Clay's online book, in his SELF HELP forum. We need a forum for...

Some places have specific forums or sub-forums called 'Ranting & Venting' which is just for people to rant away, no replies are necessary... Seems a good idea to me...

We have talked about anger and venting, etc. before, as there have been other requests for it. Since there are already good places here to talk about anger, like Self-Help with Dr. Clay, or any forum that you feel is relevant to the situation you are angry about or the disorder that it is related to, etc., and also because nobody on the team owns enough protective gear to handle an entire forum filled with a concentration of anger and venting, we have generally decided that members can continue to use the existing forums, within the guidelines, to talk about their anger, frustration, etc.

Plus I revert to my typical reply: learn how to better handle your anger by curbing cognitive distortions. See basic list of them at the top of the psychotherapy forum. We need a forum for...

Don't keep your anger in, but certainly work on it, and find a forum to do so! tc

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
