Has anybody else here used this site to send gifts to our military? I am going to do it for the first time this year. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to be in their circumstances far away from home. I think this is a great way to support them and practical too.

Yes, I used one of those sites (and looked at anysoldier, it's very legit) last Christmas season to do my giving. I think I finally gave to the USO http://www.uso.org since they'd been doing their thing so long and I knew them "better"? Last year they had a "box" thing similar to the other sites but that was easier for me to understand how it worked.

My friends and I actually are using a program this year by donating NHL Ottawa Senators tickets to the Canadian Armed Forces and the families of troops.
We're all big hockey fans so we thought it would be nice to give the gift of hockey. It's called 'Billets pour les Troupes'. |
