I sometimes think so much more than I say and you know that's not a good thing ever, but it's certainly not a good thing when the thoughts are good, positive and appreciative.

I've noticed around here, with my family, I'm pointing out plenty of negatives with few "thank you, guys". I think I've just been more quiet here at PC.

John Grohol, all behind the scenes contributors both named and unnamed from editors to "ask the therapists", moderators, administrators and members...

You mean more to me than words can say. You've all helped in my healing in the past, but also in my current daily maintenance and continued healing. I honestly don't know what I would've done without the support I receive here this last year. Moreover, I don't know what I would've done had I not been administrator...retaining "me" in all the confusion, fear and struggles.

I might gripe a bit, I might point out a negative, but please know that with every gripe, with every negative, there are 100-fold the appreciation and positive.

So many of you have changed me forever in so many ways but mostly in helping me gain insights along with tolerance and understanding...maybe most of all *PURE ACCEPTANCE*.

PC, I'm proud to say I'm not the same person I was that October day some years ago, but I'm the better person with my gained awarenesses, understandings, capabilities...all I credit to a place called Psych Central in large...to the inhabitants here. Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

DocJohn, every employee, every volunteer, every member contributing in any way, thank you doesn't quite get it but is the best the dictionary offers. Please, please don't ever minimize the amazing things your work does accomplish.

THANK YOU.

While we may have some "negatives", will you all join me please state our appreciation and positives that might not be said enough.

Let's make this the largest thread the General forum has seen in a while. Let's do this right...updating daily something positive!!!!

KD

Here's my most recent positive today...

Several dear, dear members here PM'ed me out of the blue just to say me and mine are being thought about and that they're there for me.

Today I'm not only thankful for that, but I stand on that.

(((((((((((((((( KimmyDawn )))))))))))))))))

(((((((((((((((( DocJohn ))))))))))))))))))

(((((((((((((((( Everyone at PC )))))))))))))))))

I think there are many of us here that feel the way you do KD. While there are times when negative things go on, are said or felt and not spoken of, there is so much more positive and supportive instances to grasp onto and remember.

I too would like to say a big THANK YOU for a place that I call my second home. A place I can come and voice my concerns, my trials and tribulations and also my love and friendship. This is a place I can truly be "ME" without having to worry about being judged or ridiculed or told I don't matter or my feelings don't matter.

PC has been a bright light in a world that has been dark and scary for me. I have learned from every single connection with members I've made here, each and every day.

I thank you all for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow. You have all given me a beautiful gift through the years.....and that is the gift of yourselves. Each and every one of you is a wonderful gift. I have been truly blessed.

I love you all! Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

I, myself, am nodding off Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

All kidding aside, thank you for all those who are here, who I have met here and who have helped me so much through out the almost 3 years that I have been here now.

Its cool that I am finally at the place where I know the history of people instead of asking who so and so was (back in 2005)...

Thank you all for being so great!

I can't find the words to express my gratitude for PC.

I know that without a doubt, had I not stumbled here back in Oct 04, I would not be here today. This place has saved me a thousand times over. This place has seen me since the start of my journey to getting my life back. This place offers me a purpose. I wake up every morning and get my coffee and come here. Without the company I always have available here, I don't know what I would do.

I love PsychCentral and I love all its members and contributers. This truly is my home online.

I am most grateful for the acceptance and tremendous support I have received from the all the wonderful PC members—including the community team. I am also extremely appreciative to DocJohn for all the work he has done in the mental health field.

It is an honor to be associated with PsychCentral! Thanks for letting me be a part of the community.

A positive today - I'm finally getting my MS meds again today. Been off of them for over a month again and have been so scared of a flair-up. But they'll be arriving this morning!! So that stress will soon be alleviated.

Oh!! And I got my apartment all decorated up with my Christmas stuff yesterday. After 7 straight days of errands and family I finally had a day to clean and decorate!! Now its so festive in my place that its brightening my mood. Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

Hm. In my usual "be careful!" fashion I want to say "watch out" for things that seem too good. PC does seem to be pretty good, though. I'm still here... haven't completely panicked yet...

PC is an amazing place - it's becoming my second home on the internet. The people I've met here have all been so supportive of my struggles that it's amazing.

Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

(((KD))) I think one of the best things about this site is that though many come here not knowing how to share, not knowing what real caring looks or feels like, and even tough it might be a trial by fire for some, many do learn how to begin caring. They learn to care not just for others, but for themselves. Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

THAT in itself, changes the world.

Well my positive today.. with some reluctancy to say so but soo much hopefulness there too, Hubby and I communicated on some awsome levels this morning. If it was Christmas already... I'd consider this the biggest miracle/ present/ whatever you want to call it. Its like he took on a positive attitude along with me. And WOW.. I just hope and pray that this is something that will continue.

And all the love, guidance, input, laughs, tears just everything ... have made PC a place that I do love to be. Love you guys so much. Thank you for putting up with me lol.

Thank you so much for articulating this. It is very true for me. I read here and come here to see what caring is like. It is very foreign and baffling to me as it wasn't modelled for me earlier in my life.

I think the opportunity to see this and learn from it is a tremendous strength of Psych Central. Thank you.

I also really appreciate that forums like this allow you to have the opportunity to test out theories raised in therapy. To try things you wouldn't normally try in an attempt to gradually break down old, damaging beliefs. Thank you DocJohn and *ALL* at Psych Central

i'm grateful that i have a place to go, where it's all typed out so i wouldn't miss out on anything due to my deafness. the acceptance here has been wonderful for me, and i really appreciate everyone here for that. this place is a place where one can get support even if he or she can't get it in the 3d world. it's also a place where loved ones can get a break instead of being the support person (what i meant is for example, it gives my hubby a break, lol). psych central has been a wonderful place. i'm so very glad to have found this site.
