I finally got called for an interview!!!! It would be a doctor's office!!!!!!!!!!! That's every phlebotomist's dream!!!!!! Cross your fingers, send prayers, good thoughts etc!!!!!!!!!!!
It was such a joy to get called for this interview. I'm soooo hoping I get it.......I fully believe in the good thoughts of this community!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!!!! Thank you thank you, Rayna

Thanks everyone!!!!!
I haven't interviewed in so long. I got my suit all ready and got a blouse and shoes for it today. Back in high school I was in Academic Decathlon (yes, nerd lol) and I won a medal in interview. I'm usually very confident that when I interview, I get the job. There's only been one that I remember that I didn't get, and it was non-medical, and I had worked for the company before and didn't leave on good terms. So.....I'm fairly confident that I'll get it unless there's just someone more qualified. I feel like my job coach has given me good pointers, and the lady asked me a few questions on the phone and seemed pleased with my answers. I'm so nervous....I hope I sleep tonight! At least its not till the afternoon.....

WOW I'm impressed. My own MD, who is one of top 100 Docs in S Fl..doesn't even do any labs in office any more... what KIND of a doctor are you going to work for (hope hope?)

As someone who sees phlebotomists on a much more regular basis than I would like, I can tell you that the surly ones really suck.  I'm sure your charming self will do just fine!

Sky, yeah very few docs have phlebs in their offices anymore! I'm really curious to find out what the job description is.
Split, thanks for the vibes, the interview hasn't happened yet, not till Thurs at 3. Still got awhile to be nervous lol!

Well I owned it. I don't know 100% yet, but my gut tells me I got it. She was really impressed with me and I did great on the assessment test, which I wasn't expecting to take.....but I only missed one question and it was a computer question. I got all the phlebotomy questions right.
The job sounds like a dream.....a small doctor's office. Drawing blood in the mornings and then helping with office stuff in the afternoons. It really sounds perfect....she's going to call by tomorrow afternoon.....I hope I got it!!!!
