Muffy called me this morning. Her son got hurt at school in a skating accident. He just got out of the hospital a bit ago . He has 9 stitches in his chin. And they are on their way to the dentist now because his back teeth are lose from hitting eacheother when he fell. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers so everything will be ok. This is why she hasnt been on today.

Sorry I didnt get this posted sooner. Had other things going on today.

((((((((((((( HUGH )))))))))))))) Take care buddy.. Hope you get to healing well.

Hugz

Sending out healing and comforting prayers for you and your family Muffy. Bless the hands that touch your boy. May they be used with wisdom and healing. May the pain be slight and the blessings great.

everyone ty
((((((Sweet))))))))))) ty for posting it , I forgot you yourself were having a very hard day. I am so sorry
To even take time to call me back was wonderful ty

I just did not want anyone to worry, as I am usally in and out of here during the day

My son was so lucky today. 9 stitches as sweet said, The ER was GREAT. they rushed him threw, And they had a full house.
It was like being the Er show. LOL
After that off to dentist . FOr the x ray that goes around your face , to see if jaw was broke. He was ok
The wonder DEntisted fixed all 3 teeth.
We were so lucky, today the dentist is usally off.
It does not sound like much. But his school is hour and half away. Hospital was hour from there. Cause we had to get him as close to dentiist as we could.
ANd there was NO snow today.......
ALL as i got to say is this child was blessed to today , by you guys, by god, by who ever............
I would like to think my parents were looking down on him and protected him. AS this is the bad time of year for us, That was my only thoughts at the time. Was oh god no not again. Ty everyone

(((((((((((( Muffy & Son ))))))))))))))

So sorry to hear about the accident. Phewww....that's scary now isn't it? I sure hope son heals quickly and before you know it, it's all just a memory.

A little side note.....when I was a young child my daddy had just told me he was going to take me ice skating. I was so happy and I went into my bedroom and was pretending to ice skate on the floor. (my floor was linoleum) Somehow I slipped and fell forward, hitting my jaw and chin on the metal frame of my bed. Yep, you guessed it.....off to the ER for stitches in my chin!

So, your son and I will have matching chin scars Message from Muffy

I do hope he heals quickly and is feeling better very soon. And I hope you have been able to calm down too muffy dearest. I'm sure you were anxious as all get out.

I'm sorry he is in pain still. I think he needs his TMJs examined for TMD. The TMJs can be moved out of place in such a hit, and even a slight VERY SLIGHT amount of being out of place will cause many problems that won't go away on their own. Make sure he sees someone for TMD (TMJD) if that dentist isn't trained in it... he might need a mouth splint made just for him to help set his jaw back, allowing the tendons to return it to normal sitting. Yeah, I've had those too, but they aren't clear enough to check the small amounts of "off" a jaw can be.. .it takes an closed MRI (open MRIs don't give enough detail even Message from Muffy ) If it's off, it can cause headaches, jaw spasms and biting of tongue, vision problems, balance issues, and of course jaw pain and eating issues. I hope it just needs rest! Message from Muffy
