Work is going really great but its totally exhausting me while I get adjusted. And now I've got some kind of bug. Whatever it is seems to be moving pretty quick, yesterday it was in my chest and today its traveled lower. (Don't know how to say that without being gross lol) My limbs ache too, so I don't know if its a flu or just my body reacting to working with MS. It could take me awhile to adjust. I've been in bed by 7:30 because my bed is the only place I get some relief. By the time the evenings come I'm in too much pain to sit at my computer. Hopefully I'll have a laptop sooner rather than later, so I can hang out on PC from bed. For now I'm checking in in the mornings. I have about an hour in the mornings to sit around before I get moving, so I'm spending it here.

Just thought I'd post in case ya'll thought work was taking me away from PC. I guess it is in a round about way since I'm too sore to sit at the desk at night haha. Doing well though, learning the job pretty quick. Everyone I work with is great and the doctor is warming up to me too. Hopefully I'll adjust physically very soon!!!

(((((( Everyone )))))))

Hope you adjust soon! That doesn't sound like fun; adjusting to new, MS, flu-like stuff. My asthma is acting up and I've developed a cough the last 3-4 days that isn't helping. I think it is that time of year for everyone. I'm already wishing for Spring I think :-)

((((((Ray)))))) The "crud" is going around everywhere -- I've been sick most of the week and it seems friends in other places are just getting over it too.

I'm glad you like your job, though! It is tough starting to work full days again after a long time off. Hopefully it will get better for you, though.

Hey Ray, I am so happy your job is going so well. It is a good sign that the doc is starting to warm up to you. I work with docs too and life is much easier when you get along with them.

Sorry you have been sick--I hope you get better real soon.

You may have a little less time for PC, but remember its quality not quantity...I think your work experiences will enrich your life and make your time here even better (even if its less).

Hugs!

Rayna,

Sorry that you're feeling sick - that's no fun at all. And on top of a new job, it must be especially horrible. Cut yourself some slack - getting back into the work routine will take a while. I'm glad that the job's going well & that the Dr. is warming up to you. Don't worry about a bit of a PC break, like depressme said, it's quality not quantity that counts and right now your first priority has to be looking after yourself.

WB! Maybe you could get the computer moved to your bed room, and buy just a wireless keyboard to use from bed?

I am sorry to hear that you are having such difficulties. I hope it balances out for you, however, it never does for me when I push. You know how it goes, you weigh things you do in "is it worth what you have to pay to do it?"

LOL I think he was referring to the bug that has invaded my belly, not you Zorah lol. I love the new siggy!!

I think I'm feeling better today. Things have slowed down. I had a heck of a fever last night but got that to break and slept for 12 hours. I'm considering making an investment in a laptop with my Christmas/Birthday/First check money. There's a CompUSA store closing and they have a big sale. That will help me so much if I can be online from my bed!!

Thanks everyone. I'm typing to ya'll from my bed with my new laptop. There were some problems with it even though its new and I spent the day with my friend fixing it. It seems to have worked out. Its a simple one, nothing fancy, just enough to get me to PC from bed. I haven't been here much

hey, a new computer - how cool is that. I need to replace my wireless card in my computer so that I can go back to being on-line in bed. For now I'm tied to the cable that's in my living room.

Glad you got your's working.
