I used to know someone who had it. She had a stroke and lost the body map of her legs in her brain. So her legs felt like something disgusting, like corpse parts sewn onto her.

I think it was a Law & Order SVU episode. The guy was a doctor and was paying hookers so he could amputate their legs.

I read a book about a guy who cut off his own hand. He had paranoid schizophrenia though. I think he was trying to please some make believe god or something. Read the book in 2013 I think.
