M. Need to vent

C. Let's hear it

M. I'm pissed off

C. Why? What happened?

M. I didn't hear back from CB, which is f’d up

C. Why is this f’ed up?

M. Because it means I f’d up the Cal deal

C. Do you know this for a fact?

M. No, but Amy didn't ask me back and CB did not respond. Plus, I would have done it completely differently had I to do it again.

C. So why not try to do it again?

M. What do you mean?

C. Why not send CB another email? Do me a favor and draft the email, okay?

M. Okay. I sent CB a simple email to let him know I'm considering emailing A/V and asking for his advice.

C. You have nothing to lose at this point, so better to do that than wait.

M. You're right

C. What else are you upset about?

M. DJ didn't jump up and down when I showed him and LE PM.

C. If I heard correctly, I heard him and LE say something to the effect that “this is great”, right?

M. I suppose but he also said, Thanks for the update. F that!

C. If I heard right, you and LE have a call on the books for Thursday to discuss how to package SPM, right?

M. That's true

C. Sounds like she wants to work with you, right?

M. That's true

C. The fact that she wants to discuss copyrighting is a positive, right?

M. What do you mean?

C. Well, if ST perceives SPM as a mechanism to make their IP sticky, that's quite a huge deal, right?

M. How so?

C. Seems to me that customized ST content has a stronger chance of sticking, which is there main objective, right? Making their IP sticky is very strategic for them, right?

M. You're right. It is.

C. Seems to me that having ST content in a PB significantly increases the likelihood of a customer continuing to use their method, right?

M. Yes.

C. What's more useful to a SR, generic courseware or customized PB content?

M. The customized PB content.

C. And if it's more useful, do you think it increases or decreases the chance of a customer re-upping?

M. It increases it

C. By a lot or a little?

M. By a lot

C. Do you believe this?

M. I do. Rather than clicking to content, the user has exactly what they need, when they need it. In my case, once I codified JR, I really no longer need to listen or watch the video again.

C. Exactly, but you sound like him now, right?

M. I did sound like him during my call with I3.

C. I heard you and you did. B even commented that it sounded like you were standing up, it came across so naturally, right?

M. That's true

C. T/G is a great example of how you're bringing this to life, right?

M. What do you mean?

C. It's super complex, but you developed a model and track for different cases, right?

M. I did and I was able to bring this up on my call today. I was able to say this was the most complex scenario ever, but that we were able to come up with a construct for even this very complex scenario, I felt like DJ was trying to object, but I fortunately had a great response based on a real world scenario.

C. Seems like LE got it, right?

M. Yes, she did.

C. You also had a great call with Joe, right?

M. Yes, it actually went extremely well.

C. One door closes another door opens, right?

M. Good point

C. Want some advice?

M. Please!

C. Put your foot on the m-f throat. Grind. Don't give up. Persevere. Get to bed early tonight. Don't eat after 8pm. Drink lots of water. Tidy up. Prep for tomorrow and hit the road running in the morning. You have been up since about 5am “working.” Thinking about Cal at 5 am and trying to figure out what to do is working. You haven't taken a single break all day. You didn't even eat lunch for goodness sake.

M. That's true

C. You also worked all weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. Take time now to recharge your batteries and get after it in the morning. You can pencil the CS agenda, but no more computer work. You need to give your brain some rest.

M. Okay

C. Regarding Cal, cut yourself some slack. You're better for it and fortunately you have other real opportunities, right?

M. Yes, that's true.

C. Was this helpful?

M. Surprisingly, yes. It was helpful to get this stuff off my chest and put it in perspective. Definitely helpful. Thanks so much!

C. You got it. Talk later. Take care.

M. You too. Thanks.

M. Need to vent

C. Go for it

M. I've been putting in 12 hour days with zero breaks and I'm fried.

C. I could imagine. What's on your mind?

M. I'm f’ing pissed

C. What about?

M. I'm pissed that C from Ax didn't get back to me. Makes me nervous that she might not respond.

C. The fact that you've had two meetings is a positive, right?

M. I suppose

C. What else?

M. I'm pissed that it took me so long to put the info together for Cal. This flustered me. It took me a long time to do this and it required lots of edits. F!

C. I can imagine you felt the pressure of getting it out and felt flustered because it was such a hassle to put it together.

M. That's right. Plus, I'm nervous about how the self-tour will go.

C. Well, the good news is that you are in the running. You were afraid you were out earlier in the week, right?

M. You're right. I was.

C. What else?

M. As much as I enjoyed the conversation, the meeting with Ant was a f’ing waste of time. And I have to admit that it always bothers me when someone says not interested.

C. Fair enough, but even you concluded they were not a fit, right?

M. Yeah and I told them so

C. You enjoyed your conversation with Joe, right?

M. I did. He's a great guy.

C. What else?

M. The fact that I've been working nonstop has been frustrating because I had to produce quality content and in retrospect my email to C at Ax could have been better.

C. Not everything is going to be A+ work. An A- now and then is okay.

M. I suppose

C. What else?

M. Feeling discombobulated

C. How so?

M. I still have so much to do

C. Like?

M. Need to put together a proposal for I3 program completely from the ground up.

C. What else?

M. I need to:
- Survey
- AX listing
- PB pb
- Organize desktop files
- I3 proposal
- Hub training
- Prep D meeting
- Pre-work
- Recreate HPB

C. That is a lot

M. I have been working weekends for what feels like forever. I feel like I have had zero downtime and don't see that changing for the immediate future.

C. I know. I'm not going to tell you to take it easy. You need to continue to grind. No question about it.

M. You're right. It is what it is.

C. Also, it's better that you're busy than the alternative, right?

M. Yes. You're right.

C. Did this help?

M. It did. It helped me get stuff out of my system and put it in perspective.

C. Great. Keep grinding. Foot on the f’ing throat! You have a great product. If I'm not mistaken, you felt great about the demo with K, right?

M. I did. You're right.

C. She had no reason to be positive, right?

M. You're right

C. You had a positive reaction from C at AX, right?

M. I did

C. And SE was also very positive, right?

M. True. Thanks for reminding me of this. Definitely helps.

C. Great to hear. Have a good evening.

M. Thanks. You too.

M. Need to decompress

C. Go for it

M. I'm ****ing pissed

C. Go for it

M. I'm ****ing pissed that m-f CM did not get back to me. Pisses me off and frustrates me because it makes me look bad in front of CL and DJ. Really frustrates me. Makes me feel like I ****ed up. I'm pissed that maybe I can cross as too intense.

C. I can understand why this would upset you. Do you want some advice on how to deal with this?

M. Please

C. My advice is that you continue to plug away. Focus on excelling on the I3 project. Focus on excelling on the TG project. Focus on excelling on the Cent project. Focus on excelling on the PB PB/PM project. Focus on excelling on the Cal project.

M. Okay, but I'm really frustrated that I haven't heard back from Em or LE or CL. I feel like DJ gave LE direction to not work with me because of PN. This upsets me.

C. Completely understand. My advice is to concentrate on the projects you have in front of you. Just put your head down and do this. Pardon me, but f--- ST. Foot on the throat. Keep after it. Grind!

M. Okay. This is helpful. Will take your advice. Appreciate your help.

C. You got it.

M. Need to decompress

C. Go for it

M. I’m f’ing pissed

C. What about?

M. I’m f’ing pissed that I sent C all these emails and not sure if she’s going to show up.

C. According to Google Calendar she accepted which means the meeting is on her calendar, right?

M. That’s true

C. You just checked and she has a check mark next to her name, right?

M. That is true

C. So, my take is that because of this it’s more reasonable to assume that she will make it that she won’t wouldn’t you say?

M. That’s reasonable

C. What else?

M. I’m wondering what the f happened with NN. I’m pissed that M2 is not letting me know what’s going on.

C. Can I give you some advice about this?

M. Sure

C. Just send M2 a friendly email. That’s it.

M. Okay

C. Anything else?

M. I’ve been burning it at both ends. And last night I didn’t take my med because I forgot to go to the drugstore. Plus, I was stressed out.

C. Couple of questions?

M. Sure

C. How did you feel about the call with LE?

M. Really good. It’s very exciting that she’s seeing such strong interest. Very exciting.

C. How the demo with the ops person?

M. I was outstanding. I was really in the zone. I almost couldn’t believe how well it went given that I hardly slept last night and woke up so anxious.

C. What about with CL?

M. That also went well

C. And didn’t DR say you did a great job?

M. You’re right. He did.

C. So as an outsider looking in I’d say that if someone had a day where they had so many people be so positive, I’d say that person had an outstanding day, wouldn’t you?

M. I suppose so.

C. Was this helpful?

M. Yes. Very.

C. Excellent. Glad to hear it. Have a good one.

M. You too.

C. Go for it. What’s on your mind?

M. Lots

C. Let’s heat it

M. I’m pissed/angry/worried

C. Let’s start with pissed/angry

M. I’m pissed f’ing G has not reached out to me

C. Go on

M. I’m pissed that CM did not mention PB and PM

C. Go on

M. I’m pissed RC never got back to me after she was the one to suggest it

C. What else?

M. N is pissing me off because she’s expecting us to do the work at a moment’s notice

C. What else?

M. I’m pissed at RK for doing everything piecemeal

C. What else?

M. I’m pissed at MM for sending me a quote for way too much money

C. What are you worried about? Really

M. I’m really worried about not having more PM deployments.

C. What else?

M. I’m worried about not getting a lot of traction with ST

C. What else?

M. I’m worried the people at TG won’t like PM

C. What else?

M. I’m worried that I won’t get any more PM customers

C. What else?

M. I’m worried that I have all these projects and that I’m falling behind.

C. Okay if I ask a few questions

M. Sure

C. If I’m not mistaken, you had a great demo with K and S, right?

M. Yes, I did

C. As I recall you felt like you knocked it out of the park, right?

M. That’s true

C. You also had a great demo with LE, right?

M. Yes, that’s true

C. If I’m not mistaken, you’re feeling great about the new PM, right? It seems like you love demoing it.

M. Yes, I am enjoying it.

C. Want some advice?

M. Yes, please.

C. My advice is that you focus on completing the Cent PB and the TG PB. I would also suggest reaching out to ARC and Nord.

M. Okay

C. Just keep your head down.

M. Okay

C. Was this helpful?

M. Yes, it was helpful to get this stuff off my chest

C. Get after it. Foot on the throat. Second to none. Keep after it!

M. Okay will do. Thanks!

C. You got it
