Just wanted ya'll to know I'm having Lasik eye surgery tomorrow and I won't be online for the next couple of days until my eyes heal a bit.

I'll be missing everyone and probably going through horrible PC withdrawl symptoms. Will probably be away for a day or two or three

Please wish me luck and send good thoughts....I'm really nervous about the surgery, but excited at the same time.

Love to you all! Will probably be away for a day or two or three

hey Sabby. I had that done on both eyes back in 1999. It aint nothing to it. You dont feel a thing. Just a odd smell at one point but thats it.

So glad to hear your'e having it done. Congratulations. You'll see the world in a whole different way. LOL

love ya,
chal

How exciting! I've decided I'll wait as long as I can for it (I just use drugstore glasses for reading), like in my 60's and then I'm sure it will last 20 years or so :-)

Let us know how it goes, please?

Good luck!

(((((((((( muffy & mrs )))))))))) Thanks so much!!

Well, it still seems I'm looking underwater at things...all blurry and such. But, I do have farsightedness which I've never had before!! YAY! Unfortunately, my nearsightedness has gone bye bye and I'm sad about that. Looks like I'll be needing reading glasses at some point.

The surgery went well....it's a lot more intense than I had imagined. Not so sure I would have gone through with it if I had known just how intense it would have been. The bright lights they use are painful...LOL.

So I'm just checking in as I can't see the type very well here. Wanted ya'll to know I'm ok and I have my post op check later this morning. Can't drive yet though so I'll be taxied around again today...LOL

Thank you again for all your prayers and well wishes. They mean the world to me!

Thanks (((((((((((((julia))))))))))))))

Wow, I hope they found another way to remove the fluid for your mom. I completely understand why she backed away from it all. But, I really didn't feel too badly the next day. There was no more pressure and they eyes sometimes feel a bit sandy and still a bit blurry.

Post op check went wonderfully. According to doc I have 20/20 farsighted vision!!! I purchased those little dimestore magnifying readers for my close up reading and computer stuff and they are working just fine.

Still a bit of haze around brightness (like the computer screen and tv) but all in all I'm pleased with the results!

Thanks again for the hugs! I love hugs! Will probably be away for a day or two or three
