Hi roxyanne, I'm not sure about meds, but I have had this with stress and not sleeping and it can build up, and get quite bad until I get a proper sleep. I haven't found a great way of dealing with this apart from exercising, and exercising the mind, to get tired and that sometimes helps sleep come more quickly...also sometimes for me, it's a sign that I need a good cry

There are always natural alternatives to medications that work less better but they also as not as bad when it comes to side effects.

Oh, absolutely. Both hands, but especially my left hand. I am on Amantadine and Cogentin prn for the hand tremor I have, caused by medication. The meds help to quite a degree, except when I first wake up. It takes about an hour for the shaking to calm down.
