I didnt see a BPD section but Mods if I missed it please move.
My daughter has been dx'd with bipolar since she was 16. She is 21 now with a baby. She had a wild time, running away, rehab, etc. Settled down with a butthead and has a baby. Finally though she has been attending therapy for a year and been on meds for a year. The therapist is our family one ( we started seeing her when she ran away at 18) and her individual one. My daughter has said that BPD is being considered which based on what I have read about sounds possible but could some people share some real world daily living experiences with me? Like what is it like, good and bad. What types of meds or treatments work for you. I am also looking for any workbooks or stuff like that that she could try.
thanks

DBT is a great form of therapy that is effective for BPD.

I recommend workbooks that utilize the emotional regulation techniques and teach skills about fostering good communication and forming good relationships
