How can you know for sure if if something is real, instead of you dreaming it up/imagining it?

i'm talking generally, no specific stuff ?

I guess the only way to tell is to check with someone else. But it sounds scary.

Find evidence that either helps prove its existence or non existence..it does sound like a difficult task when pertaining to personal experience, but worth a shot.

i think i'm messed up

this morning when i was getting ready for work i called Willow by the other name i used to call my angel Ebony - i used to call her sweetpea

Willow's other name is petal, she answers to Willow but seems to understand that petal is her sweet-talk nickname

idk how i can "archive" that mental pain when i do still miss Ebony so much

Possible trigger:
and Ebony sweetpea angel never deserved what humans did to her she deserved to live in a loving home and have the health that she didnt have in reality

i wish with everything in my heart that i could of undone everything she went through and had her health problems instead of her, including the cancers in different places

Last edited by Anonymous32448; Jun 28, 2022 at 03:49 PM.. Reason: trying to fix the trigger button warning thing by myself cause i'm stupid and a bad person

If it's not real, when the psychosis passes. I have had some awful delusions that I could only identify as not real when they passed.

Also @willowtigger please please please stop saying you're stupid and bad. You're a beautiful empathetic spirit, I can just tell from your posts and your love for animals.

I love scale babies myself. 🦎🐍

I call terms like that, "terms of endearment " my soulmate doggie had tons of them & he knew them all. I use those loving terms on both the doggie I have (last one from my breedings) & my kitty cat. They both know their name but also respond to those other names I call them. My cat even responds to "goofball" because he is so silly.
I used to call Leo (soulmate doggie), Goofball also cause he was my silly boy too . My horse was named Izzy & even though she was 17 years old & 17.2 hands tall (hand =4 inches) I always called her "baby girl" (I had her from birth also).

It is totally OK to have special terms of endearment like "Sweetpea" used for other pets

Willow has the term of endearment of petal, Tigger gets called wrigglebum cause she finds it impossible to stay still (not so much now that she's going into old age, but she still has her moments)

I had a beautiful German shepherd named Izzy. I called her my "Good Girl". I'm pretty sure those were the last words she heard.

I am certain the last thing my angel Ebony heard was me telling her to go to tom, who was waiting for her on the "other side"/Rainbow Bridge

Tom was her boyfriend who she pined for for months after he died
