I don't do enough to challenge my mind. I don't do crossword puzzles, etc. I like to do stuff on the computer like learn about photography, etc. and I started a couple projects this year which I can't come to finish. I have an engineering degree so I like to learn about planes, bridges, skyscrapers, etc. but most of the day I'm sedentary and lazy. I always wanted to be a productive person but that isn't really happening. I always thought there were two types of people: those that are productive and those that aren't.

I do challenge my mind, but not my body. I am very out of shape right now.

I'm challenging myself right now, but it's with things like reducing the amount of time I spend online, cutting down on dairy, reading the bible, Quran and another book for recreational purposes each day. Just trying to work on my discipline in general. It has all indirectly been making me more productive though.

I challenge myself everyday. The novelty of trying to do new things,or a new way of doing regular things gives me the dopamine which is my oxygen right now.Or else I am scared of getting buried in my overwhelming grief and sadness.I am constantly looking for some challenge. Recently I am challenging myself to see how many chores I can do simultaneously in a given amount of time.Right now I can do 3 successfully. Let me see if I can do 4.

I challenge my mind, but less so my body. I have intentions to challenge my body more....I'm not out of shape though as my diet is currently mostly quite good (and I cannot tolerate.....)
I don't agree with the idea that society may push that there are two types of people, those who are productive and those who are not. __________________ |

I try to take on one challenge at a time. Right now it's getting clean. Then it's getting into proper hiking/running shape. Then it's going back to work.

Always challenging myself both mental & physical. I own a small farm I am finally trying to get into shape & usable. Always a problem or something breaking I need to fix because I don't have money to hire little things done that I can learn to do for myself.
I was a computer design engineer & I think my logical mind is always looking for things to design or problems to solve not even related to computers. Seriously, there are days when I am NOT productive. Last 2 weeks I have been doing little things that have needed done for the guys who totally cleared over an acre in back of my house in the heat. They finished up yesterday & I am taking off today to just chill. I believe in a balanced life __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. That is awesome. I have personally found that I retain information & understand more after 60 than I did while younger when I was living in constant stress. I did get my BS in Computer science & Accounting when I was 26 but it was a struggle.....now at 69, I am tempted to go get my masters in a subject I am just interested in not for a career goal.
I wish you my best in this accomplishment & cheer for you __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this. Leo my soulmate will live in my heart FOREVER Nov 1, 2002 - Dec 16, 2018 |

I challenge myself by roller skating! It does wonders for my mind, body, and spirit.

Being active like with your skating keeps the body functioning better even into older age. I still climb farm fencing (at 69) when I need to & toss bales of hay into my truck & 50lb bags of feed. Amazing what activity in our life gives us the strength to do __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this. I used to skate for hours as a kid. I tried as an overweight, out of shape adult. It was a lot harder!

I'm 67, so lots of things are a challenge to me now! But I do crossword puzzles, read, write, and take on household tasks as my main exercise.
