how do you stop the music when you're trying to relax.

by, " stop the music", I mean the music in your head (you know when you get a song stuck their)

yesterday while trying to relax, all that was going threw my head was the song evelyn evelyn. annoying as you like... it's not even that great of a song

Hi @raging vortex

How about playing the song and singing along with it to get it out of your head?

Would that perhaps work? Worth a try...

Playing white noise on your head phones might also help.

Just a thought.....

Never happens to me but I don't play much music other than classical so songs & words just aren't there

Listen to other (actually good) music, instrumental is better so you don't get a new song stuck in your head.

Every time the song starts to play I imagine a bright, red STOP sign. Then again...and again. After a few times of it the song stops.
