How can money be liquid, i don't get that either?

If money was liquid, banks would be underwater ? cause they have all the money?

monetary liquidity is an economic concept. "Liquid money" is of sorts cash or capital that is not bound in any way. If you buy a house for instance, the money you buy it with isn't "gone", but it is "bound". The cash in your purse is the least "bound", the money on your bank account the second least bound etc.

It is very abstract. It's like when you've bought a house, you can't use that money to go grocery shopping. You'd have to sell the house first, which takes time.
It's super unimportant. Don't worry if you don't get it. Besides, the student is never too stupid. If the student doesn't get it, it's cause the teacher can't teach well enough.

I never did grasp anything that was too abstract - like analising stuff at college, just wouldn't happen ..........

my brain does not work that way

Your brain probably just focusses on the important stuff. It's just as well :-)

The truly wealthy get to utilize different financial rules than the rest of us. Often, the things they do (or say) seem illogical to the overwhelming majority of other human beings.

It's always better to pay things off; preferably as soon as you possibly can. We would be so much more comfortable and secure, financially, if that we could do that right now.

I think I need a hug and a smile, and a much kinder physician than I currently have.

At this stage, the thing I honestly feel I need now, is physical, mental and emotional intimacy all rolled into one person, a woman. Not online, that's not at all the same thing for me, but in real life. I have a pretty good reason to believe that 2023 should provide this for me too, due to certain positive things...which I won't go into. Thank you. I'm an optimist.🙏

Owing nothing on the house is always better than having to pay mortgage unless of course it makes one destitute, which would be a bad decision. .

If owing nothing on the house means one has no liquid money and is struggling, then paying the house off wasn’t a good idea and the issue is likely buying a house above one’s means.

Many people are “house poor”. Can’t afford anything else but are proud they have a house. In those cases people are trying to live above their means. It’s never a good decision. If owning a house makes you poor, then your house isn't affordable. Buy smaller house in a cheaper area.

So the issue isn’t not owing nothing on the house, the issue is a stupid decision to live above your means

Or a husband pays off the house, divorces his wife, leaves his family, and tells them (and himself) he's done the right thing. Sure, he left them with a house, but flat broke otherwise.

A real husband who is mentally stable enough to live with me and hold me, relax with me, so I can feel calmer and less afraid of life.

What I need most right now is compassion, understanding, and unconditional love.

I get a lot of unconditional love from my sweet cat.
