I like to read my Louis L'Amour books out loud to myself ...

It helps me stay focused on the story line!

I also give myself pep talks & atta girls out loud all the time ...

Nothing wrong with it as far as I'm concerned!

🤠☕💜

I had a period of time when I did. It was related to bipolar hypomania. I do not have ADHD. I do not do it anymore now that I am stable. In fact, now I want to it when I drive alone, but I cannot make myself do it.

I use to do that when I was 14, after my Dad died. When I realized I was doing it, I likened it to me talking to my Dad

I do this, it annoys my wife. I'm trying to talk through my feelings basically. I think it's saved my life.

Sometimes - as I get older I notice it more. As someone else mentioned above, during hyper bouts of anxiety and high high's yes, I think more so than low lows, or the "medium" (whatever that may 'be..')
