I thought of that this morning when I watched the news. Does anyone know who might be in that area?

Tig, Tigersassy?

Where exactly did the tornados hit? I was leaving the house when it was on this morning.

We need a roll call of anyone in the tornado area.

The tornado in Castalian Springs TN , was just 50 ft from my friends brothers trailer. He is fine and his home is fine.. but just too close for comfort. The pictures are devastating. I feel so sorry for all who go thru something like this.

The tornado warning came right after I posted in the other older tornado post....go figure. I live so far out of town that I can't hear any sirens, so have to depend on my NOAA radio.

The internet went down....can't imagine why....the transever is sitting on a water tower a few miles from my house...everytime there is lightning, it gets hit & goes down. Anyway, the NOAA radio said there was a tornado sighted in the town north of where I live...(Lawrenceburg KY) & to head for the basement. That was around midnight & the warning was until 2:30am. Luckily there was no damage on my farm, but my friends farm lost 6 trees & the power line to his farm house.

On my way into the city for a Dr appointment, the road was closed...downed powerlines & trees & the tops of the buildings around the office were blown apart....just strong winds can be damaging too besides there being tornados.

Always pictured tornados during the summer..not this time of year, but the weather had warmed up so much, it didn't surprise me.

I hope everyone else is ok,
Debbie

I hate tornadoes, very scary! I am still living with the parents while I work on a down payment for a house, but one thing that is a MUST is a basement.

we had tornado hit a town south east of us but our sirens went off cause of straight line winds. last week they rolled a mobile home and two people died in my area so i think for a while they are going to be sounding them for strong straight line winds... indiana had one tornado... tennesse had a few, arkansas, southern states mainly i think... between indiana and arkansas.
