When you feel just here but not at the same time. Like you are living in a void. Everything seems so incredibly loud and close and you just want to scream to get rid of whatever it is you are feeling.

I started feeling this way this morning.

Maybe a vacation or a holiday somewhere, or a walk along the beach or hiking trail might help to alleviate those feelings Mountaindewed. It's like a part of you wants to break through your inner void and expand! I normally associate that with my body needing activity, to burn off some energy.. That's is the vibe I get from your description.

I sure don't feel good today. My stomach is off and I'm not hungry. Getting sick would make a lot more sense then me going off the deep end for no apparent reason.

Because overall good things happened today. Like other things worked out. I just feel like crap

I emailed my therapist about this and she said it sounds like disscoiation or depersonalization. I see my pdoc today so I can talk to him about it too.

To me, it sounds like irritability, feeling empty or possibly bored, and hypersensitivity. I hope it passes for you soon.

MD, I some times feel the way you described when I'm coming down with a bug.
It does feeling dissociating. It'll freak me out at first because I'll wonder why the hell I'm dissociating when there's no reason for it.

Hope everything works out for you.

I went down on 2 of my meds and this feeling went away. I feel more here now. Maybe I was too jacked up on stuff.

I was going to suggest what your therapist said. It happens to me a lot and I recognized the feeling. I hope you're feeling better.

I get this way too. Like when bronchitis or strep throat is coming on. Ive never heard anyone else say it. Its like a smoke alarm is going off - not loud, but you are not going anywhere or thinking about anything else until this issue is seen to.

Its a very interesting mechanism, isnt it? Its like my hearing and thinking are completely altered or in another dimension.

Now I'm not sure whats up because I feel badly again, but I'm in the middle of going off 2 psych meds and also my mom got a cold last night that is getting worse. She got it from my niece who was pretty sick and lethargic this afternoon.

So idk.

MD, is your pdoc aware of the decrease in your meds? Why not give her/him a call and report what's going on?

He's the one doing the med changes. I'm ok, it just takes a day or so to get used to things when I keep lowering the doses. And I do currently have a slight cold bug thing today. But overall I'm ok. Actually I'm doing pretty well getting off the meds. I went out to dinner last night for the first time since New Years 2023.
