All these people out there with houses, jobs, families, hobbies and activities and I can just about handle a part-time job and nothing more.

Everyone is different. Some people can’t work at all. There’s always someone worse than us. I assume you can’t work full time or handle other stuff due to health condition. I’d not compare yourself to others.

Holding ones self to high standards is good but always remember to limit those high standards to your own capabilities not others.
